Aw, C, you know money can fill your belly and keep you physically safe from the elements, which are all very important for a good mental health, yes, but that doesn't mean MC will still be socially and emotionally cared for. If your parent doesn't love you or they just see you as a pawn, well, that's just that, you end up deprived of parental love or you are used by said parents. Your bank balance won't change that. Your ability to seek help easily from professionals won't change that.
Plus who the hell would wish the type of pressure celebrities and royals are under to ANYONE? All that scrunity, all that control over the way you breathe and blink? Oh, I am SO excited for C and MC interactions because they both have a point in this situation. All that class conflict is gonna be delicious. I'm not even gonna pursue them, I just want them to verbally throttle each other. 🥰
The conflict between MC and C will be juicy, yes. They just have trouble understanding each other and in the beginning C has trouble empathizing with MC. It's definitely a classic case of someone like C realizing MC isn't as bad as they first thought.
Verbal throttling will ensue, definitely!
