Why does Frisk care about reversing this?

Are they emotionally connected to the plant stuff? Is it destroying something they love? Do they just wanna help the monsters? Are they just tired of wading through vines like they’re in a cursed jungle gym?

Why is this their mission?

Are they chosen? Accidentally linked to the monster seed somehow? Is this like... a "you broke it, you fix it" moment?

How does being seeded work? (That’s what she said.)

Is this like a magical birthright? Does every magic human have a seed? Can a seed be removed, activated, corrupted, stolen?? (insert dramatic anime gasp) Is having a seed dangerous or a gift? Do people treat "seeded" humans differently??

What’s special about a “seed soul”?

Can they grow things from nothing? Do their emotions affect plants? Like, do sunflowers cry when they’re sad? Are their bodies more... fertile? (not like that—like magically??). Or is it just a magic battery and the plant stuff was a side effect?

Why plants though??

Magic could’ve caused any number of apocalypses: fire, rot, void, bugs, frogs—WHY PLANTS? Was it symbolic? Like “life” growing out of sacrifice? Or is it ironic? Like humans nuked the world with their own magic and now nature's taking it back? Did the war mess with nature’s magic and cause plants to evolve into aggressive, invasive species?

Was the plantification of the world intentional or a tragic accident??

Like, did someone try to make a magic forest barrier and instead they just overdid it?? Was the sacrificed person’s seed so powerful that it corrupted the entire planet’s plant life?

Why is there a seed in their soul???

Who put it there? Was it always there? Is it symbolic? Biological? Magical? Did the gods go gardening in human souls one day for fun??

Why does frisk care?

The plants make their life so difficult, can barely move outside, and people barely get protein since animals are hard to find if they aren’t herbivorous.

Why is it their mission?

They want to make their family safe, and without the overtaken plant world, their family can be safe again and eat healthily. They didn’t know they were going to be able to do this. They learned about this opportunity in the snowdin library. They originally went to the mountain for a different reason..

How the fuck do seeds work?

Magic humans are born with them. Souls were checked at birth a long time ago to know if one is magical or not, but that practice has been forgotten, so now, magic humans don’t even know they’re magic. Frisk only knew because their magic healed their fall and they were able to heal floweys torn petal.

Why are seeds special?

It allows humans to manipulate plant life, they can’t affect them with their emotions. They can grow plants in places plants can grow or have grown, and can heal/destroy existing plants.

Why plants?

I like green.

Was it an accident or on purpose?

A HUGE accident. They only meant to put the barrier on the monsters, not the whole world…and they may or may not have accidentally started a genocide started by the first seed broken but whatever-

Why is the seed there?

The first human to inherit magic from a monster used their magic to create a “seed” and placed it in their soul, so anyone of their blood line will carry on their “gift” of being able to control plants.

I don’t know if all of these are set in stone, but mostly.

Hematite: how squeamish my muse is

Fairly squeamish unfortunately, but that can depend on the situation. Since he has been exposed to all manner of bodily fluids (via being the designated baby sitter of his younger siblings) that kind of thing doesn’t really get to him – and it comes in handy with his own children later on. Open wounds and blood make him feel sympathetic towards the sufferer rather than disgusted, what does gross him out are insects, rats, mouldy food and especially the smell of damp.

Hiddenite: how much of an "inner child" my muse has

He does have one, but it’s pretty well hidden under a thick layer of emotional restraint and politeness. In order to draw out his inner child you need to make him feel as comfortable as possible around you, and talk about his passions.

Iolite: my muse's drinking habits

Vardamir drinks a reasonable amount, for the sake of social form, but rarely does he let himself become drunk. He prefers mulled wine and fruit punch to hard liquor.  

Jade: if my muse would ever cheat on a partner

Nope, he might fall in love with a second person but would never act upon it unless he and his original partner agreed to part ways. But the chances of that happening are pretty low, Vardamir is more likely to stay in a lukewarm marriage than pursue a forbidden romance.

Jasper: what my muse would be like as a parent

abalone: what kind of situations compromise my muse emotionally

- Any situation where he is forced to speak to a crowd (which is is becoming more and more often), and being interrogated on his feelings of inadequacy and low self esteem - he really hates talking about himself.

agate: how my muse calms down

- Vardamir retreats into himself, stepping away from the situation and going into his head and finding a pleasing memory or image - doing this usually prevents his anger from boiling over.

blue lace agate: my muse’s favourite form of communication (verbal, letters, texting, etc.)

- If Vardamir could communicate solely by writing letters he’d be so very happy. While he tends to cut his speech short, and use words that aren’t too difficult for him to pronounce, he can write endlessly in beatuful, articulate prose. Everything he cannot express verbally instead gets written onto the page - he is known for sending long, soulful letters to friends and family when he is away travelling.

fire agate: if my muse is brave or cowardly

- Considering how much of a struggle social interactions can be, and Vardamir’s crippling fear of being ridiculed for his stutter - the fact that he doesn’t shy away from his duties as prince, and he that he deals with a large number of people (both pleasant and unpleasant) each and everyday with as much good grace as he can muster… I’d say this makes him very brave indeed.

moss agate: if my muse has a high or low opinion of themself

- Vardamir’s self esteem is rocky at best, and can vary depending on the kind of day he’s had but his opinion of himself is not very high to begin with. On a good day, his confidence gets a boost and he becomes more outgoing and cheerful - he also smiles more often. On a bad day… Vardamir will return home, lock the door, curl up on his favourite chair and not talk to another living soul for however long he can help it.

amazonite: what kind of situations call for my muse to be dishonest

- Vardamir is honest about 80% of the time, and would rarely outright lie to someone. He might deceive you in terms of his emotions - he very good at disguising discomfort or annoyance, especially in formal company.

amethyst: what my muse would most like to be able to shape-shift into

- Tricky question, probably a cat, since he likes cats.

ammolite: how lucky or unlucky my use is

- Depends, Vardamir believes you make your own luck.

apache tears: a sadness headcanon

- If Vardamir is feeling melancholy he keeps it to himself - he might decide to go and see his father if he’s really upset about something, to ask for advice, but mostly he’ll take a few hours to himself to reflect over what happened then try and return to his everyday business.

apatite: a headcanon about my muse’s intuition

- Vardmir is a quiet observer, which means sometimes he can pick up on things that other people might miss. He’s quite difficult to fool, and if something doesn’t feel right the he follows his instinct and simply leaves the situation.

aquamarine: where my muse feels most calm/relaxed

- At home, in front if the fire - reading scrolls or books, or maybe writing up his research. He also likes beaches as sunset, hearing the waves rolling in and out as the light dies. Libraries are nice too, he’d stay in a library all night if you’d let him.

biotite: the biggest problems my muse is currently dealing with

- Two things mainly, the first would be him trying to grow accustomed to his title as prince and coming to terms with the fact that his father will not be around forever - and that one day he will inherit the throne. The second thing would be his stutter - kind of obvious, its like a phyical manifestation of all his insecurities that just refuses to go away. He’d cut out his own tongue if it mean’t ‘fixing’ himself.

diamond: a sex headcanon

-When he’s being intimate with someone Vardamir goes very quiet - what he feels is expressed through tender touches, kisses, nuzzling, everything but talking. At the end of it, he might whisper 'Goodnight.“ or "I love you” but he doesn’t really do pillow talk.
