Here’s some fanart for the fanfic “Meeting on the March” from the series “Another Turn of the Wheel” by SofiaDragon on AO3, which is based off the character Loki from the MCU. This scene specifically references the movies “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “The Avengers”. The song in the first panel is an excerpt from the 1st verse of “Wild Carrot Song” by Rachel Lambert aka the ‘Singing Forager’, which can be found on her website here: https://www.wildwalks-southwest.co.uk/wild-carrot-song/. (I tried to find some older nursery rhymes of this theme, but strangely there weren’t many results?)
