OOH OKAY so. Remember Daisy's friend, the Friendly worker? Well, when Friendly disappeared, Daisy found a new friend to take his place- Bubbles (the island's equivalent of Cucurucho). Obviously, to Vex, this is No Good Very Bad. But she doesn't tell Daisy that, because it's so obvious that Daisy is very attached to Bubbles, and Vex just doesn't know how to separate them.

One day Daisy showed Vex a secret room where Bubbles communicated with Daisy- AND all the other eggs. Daisy made Vex promise not to share the secret with anybody. Vex swore they wouldn't.

But when Daisy lost their first life, Vex was scared. She knew that the Federation couldn't have any good reason to be interacting with eggs. And she couldn't lose her child.

Vex showed the room to Quackity (another island resident), one of her allies against the Federation. They felt endlessly guilty while doing it, but if it meant they could protect their child, it would be worth it.

This is actually the continuation to the last snippet that I didn't post for space but now have an excuse to:
