why yes :~) throughout webh theres mention that hancock left goodneighbor after the events of long time coming/the eddie winter case bc he felt he overextended and didnt like how it made him look, much like his in-game reasoning for wanting to travel w the sole survivor. he wanders around the commonwealth for a time on his own, trying to find a new purpose for himself, before ending up in the general area of nuka-world. hancock’s capture is a bit more purposeful than tua’s though - he wants to kill colter lol. and what better way than to get caught! or so he says.

i like him!! i think its interesting that he has free will as opposed to nick (supposedly), yet he still ended up doing what his makers did (playing puppet master to control the politics of the communities around him). the only thing that kind of bothers me w how he fits into fo4 is that nick, famous black and white morality haver, seems a little too forgiving of his antics
