hey just wondering what did you get for your Gcse results? I did so bad and my a level mocks are looking the same despite my studying method being effective???
hey there!
I didn’t take GCSEs because I’m from California and in the US we take the SAT or Act To get into colleges and the California state now requires SBAC testing but I do know a little bit about GCSEs and A levels but can’t help much on that.
in terms of studying techniques I would first reflect on how you studied for your GCSEs and what didn’t work and slowly tryout new techniques. when I study for an exam I prefer being alone if it’s a few days away but if it’s a really challenging class and it’s going to be the next day I often study with my friends and we have our own mock quiz sessions.also if you don’t mind me asking what are your current study techniques and why you view them as effective because it may not be a problem with your study techniques but how the material is being presented, what I mean by this is that you may understand the material but not how the test works?for example, for the SAT testing its not really on how much knowledge you have on the reading comprehension part but on how you can use that knowledge to give the answer that is objectively correct.
