10 and 20 with Shin and Tarah
10. How protective are they of you?
Tarah and Shin taught their kids to handle themselves, and theyâre proud as heck that their kids can do that, but they also love them a lot and hate seeing them get hurt. If you present yourself as a threat to Zoro and Honyo, well, :) Good luck getting out of the boiling pot and the frying pan :) :)
The way these two protect is very pronounced by their personalities. When Tarah walks into a room you know right off the bat that sheâs not one to mess with. Her love is the crackle of electricity, its arrival the explosion of thunder. Sheâs the lioness with her claws out and teeth bared at the hunter that dared to go after her cubs. Sheâs wild and furious and sheâs a Roronoa. And a Roronoa bows down to no one, not even to a god. Her blades are at your throat before you can even think to raise your own.
In contrast, Shin is not one to readily reveal his capabilities to be a threat. He is the blade that is not drawn for idle reasons. His love is the warmth of a summer day cradled in sweet breezes. He is the calm sea on a fine day before the shifting winds bring in a frigid storm to drown the foolish sailor that was presumptuous enough to challenge it. He is quiet and gentle and does not cut unless provoked. People assume that because he seeks peace then he is weak and would handle him like a fool. But a blade is still a weapon, and weapons will always cut those that do not mind them properly.
20. What kind of advice do they give you?
Theyâre very big on reassuring that itâs okay to feel things and that feelings can get overwhelming, but also on showing how to manage said feelings.
Also, as kind of a family inside joke, they always say that, as tradition dictates, itâs okay to bully death kalsdfjsljfls
