Perhaps it’s just that rotten stump I manage to find myself in time and time again.I’d like to say it doesn’t hurt, but, to tell truth, it’s not a pleasant feeling at all; far too familiar to bad times. Oh geeze, thank you. I never wrote on the board, too much of a scary cat to do that. But there was a year when I wrote a short personal poem for all of my classmates in high school, put them in their lockers, and pretended that I had no idea where they came from. (I’m a bad liar. They knew.)
