“Talkin’ te’ me are ye’?” Brídín blinked her eyes at the man, before looking around. There was no one else there besides the two of them, so quickly she figured out that yes, he was in fact addressing her. It was–odd, to say the least. So far everyone avoided her, even the few other Dalish elves in the Keep. She supposed it had to do with her appearance, dressed all in leathers and furs, face stained red with Vallaslin that took up most of her complexion. Flashing a toothy grin though, the short elf rolled her shoulders, hand resting on the handle of the axe resting on her hip. “I don’ have anysteam te’ let off, been told ‘m very relaxed, but alright, I’ll fight ye’. Don’t go cryin’ if ye’ lose though, I won’t be lettin’ ye’ win just because you’re pretty.”
Someone took the bait! Excellent! The edges of a mischievous smile broke over his face, as he took in more of the actual elf in question. She was vicious looking, at least in the sense that her face looked to be permanently stained with blood. The confidence was what he had been looking for, and her strides had suggested at being knowledgeable in the way of combat. She was dressed in lighter armor, unlike the gear that he typically wore, meaning she was more likely lithe and quick instead of the dominating presence that Aden tended to be. Her taunt was well done, and his brows raised slightly. Oh, how easy it would be to mock her back, rile her up so she didn’t underestimate him. Then again, perhaps he should be wary about the same, as a smaller dalish woman did not really match up to his human size and musculature. Crying was out of the question, but how often had Cassandra beaten him senseless for being foolish? Enough times to not count on the hands. The last bit to catch his eye intrigued him. An axe user? Seemed like everyone and their cousin preferred the sword or the bow. It would be a refreshing difference to combat a similar fighting style to his own. “Of course. Would want to mess with these good looks of mine.” He tipped his head as he said that, bringing attention to his noble features, before continuing the taunt. “In return, I promise to be careful with that adorable grin. Though who knows, a missing tooth or two might help with the grin.”
