I've been re-reading some of my absolute favorite fanfics and I just have to post them here. I wish there was more Spuhura fanfic after the most reason movie, but I can understand how STID wouldn't be as inspiring as the 2009 flick. So, here are some stories that never fail to make my heart soar.

Why: Honestly, this is my head canon for Spock and Uhura. I love this story SO much and have read it so many times. It's soft, and sweet, and sexy. The voices of the characters are amazing.

why: Dude. DUDE. Read THIS. Rawles is one of my favorites forever. This is how I wish the story would have carried on. I love how Spock is a bit clueless and learning to navigate being captain and Uhura doesn't push him, but lets him figure out on his own what he needs to know. Also, She wrote a whole bunch of S/U drabbles in that journal that I absolutely recommend reading. I swoon.

you kids and your "unrealistic eyelash standards" malarkey. you realise that this has been going on for a while, right? up until the 1880s i was still using the old "menstrual blood and goat's milk" method to try and stimulate follicle growth.
