Spanning the life of 85 year old Eudora, we encounter family life, sacrifices taken due to the war and how the world pieced life back together again after its events; love lost and love found; simple pleasures and milestone moments; courage, kindness, honesty and above all friendship. I cannot recommend Eudora Honeysett’s story enough. A comfort, a pleasure to read and often very funny, this book is up there with my favourites. If I could go around handing out copies of it I would!
