Possibly Annie’s last day at the park on 4 legs. Painkillers aren’t helping her anymore, and thankfully the cancer has not spread, so we are scheduling amputation asap. This little poocher has been getting all kinds of special treatment, like couch privileges and fried eggs for breakfast. She’s been doing so well with the pain meds you wouldn’t even know she’s hurting at all. We are making the most of this time and will probably be taking her back in for another x-ray soon to check status. #anniebaby #anniedog #thebestpooch #myboo

This picture of Annie was taken last December and I’ve kept it on my phone since. I’m a fairly agnostic person but I do tend toward believing that positive focused energy can have remarkable healing effects. Today Annie was given a probable diagnosis of bone cancer in her front leg. Annie and Haylee and @sloopriggedskiff and I would appreciate any positive vibes you can spare.
