MAY
One of my challenges to myself this year has been to watch one movie every week that I've never seen before, whether it's going to the theater, borrowing one from the library, or picking something on Netflix. Two months into 2018 these are the movies I've watched for the first time. I'm slightly ahead of schedule, and pleased!
the Marchness
Brainstorming what the inside of the Valhalla bases would look like if they were actually designed for living in rather than gameplay.

February's been an up and down month for writing. I'm focusing on the up because I had a really productive week 1 and I am really happy with the fic I wrote for Femslash February. (Also it's been a long time since I got to post a fic serially and it was a lot of fun even with only three chapters.)
Weeks 2 and 3 were pretty unfocused meandering, intermittently trying to switch gears back to longfic, and puttering around with fanmixes and meta (both of which are fine to do but shouldn't, for me, replace writing fic), and had I committed to it I probably could have come out with a second fic for Femslash February in that time, but... hindsight.
Anyway, in the last few days of the month I pulled myself together and buckled down on prepping for March. Goal for the coming month is simple: get the problem section in The Landing completed, which here means written and organized into a coherent story that shouldn't need more than minor-to-moderate revisions going forward. April then will be last-pass revisions and final editing, and if all goes according to plan, I'll be able to start posting in May, ideally kicking off during Rare Pair Week and posting a chapter a week.
These past few days I've gotten a lot done, and am really looking forward to the work in the month to come.
