“Amphibia X Kpop Demon Hunters”
It was supposed to be a quick sketch, but the more I drew, the more the similar they are to each other.

Amphibia has big monsters. Why dont Anne hunt them? Like some kind of Monster Hunter?

One of the most powerful moments in the Season 1 finale of Amphibia happens during the collapse of Toad Tower. Up until that point in the story, Sasha had always been the person who needed to be in control. Her relationship with Anne was built around manipulation—she believed she knew what was best for her friend and that Anne needed her guidance, even if it meant controlling or pressuring her.
But in that moment, everything changes.
When the tower begins to collapse and Sasha is left hanging from the edge, she realizes that Anne isn’t going to save her. And that’s when she says one of the most heartbreaking lines of the episode:
“Maybe you’re better off without me.”
This line isn’t just dramatic dialogue. It’s the first moment of true self-awareness for Sasha. For the first time, she recognizes that the way she treated Anne hurt her. That maybe Anne’s life would be better without Sasha’s influence, without her control.
Sasha, who had never truly experienced defeat before, has just been beaten by her own best friend. Not just physically—but emotionally. Anne finally broke free from Sasha’s manipulation.
That’s why Sasha lets herself fall.
It isn’t only a literal fall—it’s symbolic. It represents the collapse of the person Sasha thought she was: the leader, the one who always wins, the one who always has control. In that moment, she accepts that maybe Anne needs to live her life without her.
However, Grime manages to catch her before she hits the ground. Toad Tower collapses completely, and the toads are forced to retreat. From the shadows, Grime and the soldiers take Sasha with them as they disappear into the darkness.
Even though Sasha survived, the outcome is clear.
The toads leave with nothing.
And for the first time, their champion has been defeated… by the champion of the frogs.
That moment marks the true beginning of Sasha’s character transformation. From that point forward, she is no longer just the manipulative antagonist—she becomes someone who begins to question who she really is.
