Hmm. Would I have always been a dude or switching now? If switching now then Max, I think - it's short, still starts with an M so I wouldn't have to change initials and learn to react to a new letter, it has an x which is cool and I could change my last name to Power and be a walking Simpsons reference. ^^ 

33. Night owl or morning bird?

It's currently 6am and I haven't been to bed yet - night owl, definitely night owl. I was actually kinda of a morning person when I was little, idk what happened. Meds probably.

(Answering publicly in case anyone else isn't aware of this because honestly I LIVE here and I find it hilarious and weird so ... allow me to share.) 

YES! It's so weird, we have this trick-or-treat-ish thing, except it's more emotional blackmail than threats - instead of tricks kids hand over (shitty) handmade cards and then they get (really shitty) candy in return. They dress up like "witches", just witches, except instead of black clothes and pointy hats it looks like ... this. (Randomly pulled off google image search - if I had one of myself handy I'd use that because I was fucking adorable as a påskkärring, tyvm. Påsk=easter, kärring=hag, that's what they're called, sometimes the boys are called påskgubbar, gubbe=old man.)

G: What was your first fandom?

Hmm, bit of a tricky one since I had fandoms looong before I knew what a fandom was - I suppose I'll go with the first one I definitely remember being active online for? (I grew up in the smallest village, online was the only type of fandom interaction possible - before then there was nothing.) And that would be Dawson's Creek, which initially I couldn't even watch because we only had 3 channels on the TV at home and DC required a satellite dish, so I had to use various leechy ways to see it in other ways. Being a fangirl was a lot more of a challenge back then, things are soooo much better now. 

Tbh all my obsessions before then were pretty obscure and weird (The Loveboat, Sunset Beach, Road to Avonlea, Flying Doctors etc), those 3 channels didn't offer up a lot of choices... The only other one possibly fitting the bill is Titanic, I seem to recall scouring badly designed Angelfire websites about the actual disaster in lieu of anything movie related, but I never discussed it online or frequented forums like with DC. 

Favorite country: 

Hmm, idk, they all seem pretty sucky to me? But since I've only ever been to 3 in my life, and two of those were before I hit double digit ages, I guess I'll pick Sweden sort of by default?

Which isn't to say there aren't things I do love about this country: it's more-or-less neutral, we make good music and furniture, we're part of the weird little nerd table in the country cafeteria along with the rest of Scandinavia/the Nordic countries... The climate sucks, but I'm a hermit anyway so good weather would be pretty wasted on me, and it does come with the perk of very few natural disasters (snow storms being the only hazard where I live and those are rare). We don't have a lot of natural resources people want and we're not placed in a very strategic location (unless someone wants to go for Norway but we might just let them, it's our MO) - basically it feels like a very ~safe country. And I mostly like the Swedish mentality - don't be cocky, do be polite, do mind your own business... it's like the opposite of what America seems like? I think that suits me and my philosophies. 

But on the downside: Racism, soooo much racism, and I don't even mean Racism as an issue but casual everyday racism that no one even thinks is racist because everyone is just like that here. Horrible language (as in Swedish, not swearing - we are the lamest swearers), horrible native food, we're shit at movies and TV and books, boring and lame customs, Swedish people in general are AWKWARD AS FUCK. I could go on tbh, but those are the lowlights and I should stop. 

But, countries that seem cool from what little I know of them: Canada, Switzerland, Costa Rica. And like all Swedes I'm obviously enamoured with the UK and USA no matter what crappy stuff I hear about it - we wish we were you so bad. We're like Single White Female levels of creeping on you over here.

Do you leave your clothes inside out after taking them off? Most of the time, I can’t be bothered to turn them. But if I wear something nicer, I’ll turn it the right way.
