Music is a topic that I always seem to enjoy in books, so I was not surprised that I enjoyed When the Beat Drops by Anna Hecker so much. This book is all about DJing, which I have never read before. The main character is clever and the writing is so descriptive, which added to my enjoyment. After reading this story, I would love to see more of its kind.

1. You never shower without an audience.
2. The person who refused to wear sunscreen or drink water is now having a meltdown, and itâs your job to chase them around brandishing pickles and Gatorade until they chill out.
3. You canât shut up about it.
4. Thereâs a song playing, and youâre pretty sure itâs the same song, and youâre pretty sure itâs been playing all day, but youâre not quite sure where itâs coming from or how to turn it off.
