Halloo,
Anyway I haven't tell my good news ♡ Yup finally I passed the test!!! WOHOOOO!!! IM LITERALLY FEELING SO RELIEVED UNTIL NOW AND THE CERTIFICATE IS NOW ON ME!!! FINALLY!!!
Yup memang itu masih step awal yang ternyata susah banget ditempuhnya tapi I really tried so hard each day. I'm so proud of myself ♡
Anywayy.... Karna udah lama ga nulis, pengen ngomong banyaaaak banget, but now I'm gon tell u my new recipe hehe I found it from internet so I tried it. I made it twice and the taste was pretty different bcs I didnt measure the ingredients hehe. But I'll tell you anyway (with approximately measurement hehe)
So it's "Jasuke but make it creamy bcs why not"
I found the name when my sis asked me, and I answered it that way haha okay let's get started!
You need:
Pan to boil
Spoon or scraper (i forgot the name) to mix
Cheese grater (optional but when the cheese is smaller, it melts faster)
Bowl or anything to put the jasuke
And....
150-200 gr Shelled corn (jagung pipil)
1 tsp salted butter
150-200 ml Fresh milk
10-30gr Cheddar cheese (I think we can use quick melt or mozzarella cheese) (anyway I use more than this cus I love cheese)
2 tbsp Condensed milk (if you like sweet, you can add more)
And now the steps:
First of all, grate the cheese first. You can cut it into small but as I said that if its grated, the cheese will melt faster. Set aside.
Secondly, melt the butter and when it's melted, pour the milk and the corn. Let it boil.
Then pour the condensed milk and grated cheese. Mix slowly and make sure the heat is low bcs you dont want your jasuke easily burnt, right? If its too soggy, you can turn up the heat for a while to let it boil faster and reduce the liquid. If it's getting thick, then make the heat low again.
And when its already thick, turn off the heat and put it into the bowl. Voila ♡
Anyway I reallu wanna try to use the combination of fresh milk and evaporated milk and i can reduce the usage of condensed milk. I also havent try using mozza cheese or quick melt. But if you use mozza, I think you need to add a lil pinch of salt to make the taste balance bcs cheddar cheese is saltier than mozza.
Actually the recipe that I found on internet use the solution of water and cornstarch. I dont really like much to use cornstarch so I choose to add more cheese and reduce the liquid from milk. And if you think you need more thick than that, I think you can use 1/2 tsp of creamer powder.
I really like Jasuke that taste sweet from the condensed milk and also the corn itself, and a bit of saltiness from the cheese and butter. It's not very healthy but I think it's worth to try.
I attached the final pic of my 1st trial and I think it looks like corn porridge wkwkwk no, it taste sweet and very creamy!!!
