I'm just gonna go ahead and share this cursed take of mine:
It is unrealistic for the alphas in an omegaverse to be so much larger than the omegas if the omegas are supposed to be the breeding sex. If there's any significant sexual dimorphism, it should be the omegas that are larger than the alphas. I know the omegaverse is loosely inspired by a myth about wolf pack dynamics, but the way most omegaverse fics are written, there's hardly anything reminiscent of wolf ecology, and the reproductive strategies seem more in line with *birds* and not mammals, particularly birds of prey such as eagles (nest building, multiple offspring, generally predatory species, territorialism), and as such, the omegas, which are responsible for carrying the offspring and doing the majority of parental investment- should be the larger ones.
