#animation workshop

An assortment of highlights from a really fun second introductory animation workshop I ran with the visual arts student. This workshop was really loose with everyone coming up with their own character idea and animating them on paper, using a variety of handouts and help from me to guide them but really just experimenting and learning through making which I think is the best way.  THEY’RE SO FUN AND EXCITING, I freaking love the wizard!! 

Almost a month ago now I did a portfolio for The Animation Workshops Graphic Storytelling Bachelor course. They gave us a bunch of assignments to put in that portfolio and after procrastinating uploading them for this long I’ll finaly try and make an effort and over the following days I’ll upload what was essentially my life for 6months. Here is the the first comic I did for them “DOGS DON’T FEEL SHAME”.

Sorry for the radio silence! I’ve been busy finishing up my first iAnimate Workshop, and it has greatly improved my animation skills! Shoutout to Jason Keane for being a great instructor! I’ll post some of my animations from it eventually 😲
