Now that the storm had passed despite Mahiru’s death and the second trial, and he was free to wander around now that he wasn’t tied up thanks to Souda and Nekomaru. A crappy person liked him deserved it for sure, but he was still highly upset that Hajime had refused to feed him his toast.

{ ▼ } - “Well I guess I didn’t convey it right if you had to ask…” She muttered, guessing that maybe that wasn’t the right gesture. Considering he was such a dark red and there was an array of emotions on his face. Wondering if maybe she should have gotten him a gift instead. Like Chocolate, that is something a girl does right? Or was that only for the holidays.

  This was more difficult then she thought now looking at the young male in deep thought. Maybe staring just a bit too hard as she tried to figure out how to scavenge this situation. As it seemed he had only confused the other trying to figure out words. “Well… Umm…” She hesitated, knowing it was a bit too late to be getting a gift for the other. So words were all she had to try and make him understand.

  “I was trying to say I like you as in a bit more the friends… Though maybe I misinterpreted how to express it…” Honestly it was amazing that she said that with a straight face. Though her cheeks were flushed showing that she felt a bit embarrassed like he was. Pulling her hoodie over her head, “Sorry if that was too forward, I was reading stuff and girls did stuff like that to boys they like. I think.”

  He was blushing so it was mutual wasn’t it? Or was he only that flustered cause it was an intimate gesture and misinterpreted. She would accept either option as she knew in the end she honestly enjoyed being around the Master mind.

"N-No, I j-just, uh...” ( He trailed off his protest. He couldn’t even speak correctly, goodness gracious. His hands were even trembling, and he tuned out everything else to listen to her, absolutely speechless. Because, well, uh, every person who has a crush imagines the beautiful confession that would come and all that, but never really believes that it will happen--especially not when the confession comes from the other party. And, well, to be honest, he couldn’t get much more flustered than he was now. )

                         ( ...Or so he thought, until he heard that confession. He almost couldn’t believe it--he blinked a couple times, trying to see if he was dreaming or daydreaming or hearing something wrong. His heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest, with how hard and fast it was beating, and his face felt like it was on fire with how warm it was. Honestly, he wouldn’t be surprised if he fainted on the spot. Luckily, he managed to keep whatever composure he had left and stay on his feet, though he did wobble a little bit as he tried to figure out what to say. )

“I... I-I u-understand, I-I...” ( This was so awkward. How many times had he practiced what to say at the moment of his confession, but he’d never prepared for her confessing to him first. He took a deep, shuddering breath before trying to continue. ) “Y-You... weren’t too f-forward, I-I’m just... surprised that... y-you like me i-in that way, w-when I thought m-my feelings weren’t returned...” ( Oops, now you’re going on a tangent, Koto, get back on track! )

45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?

//Both, though mostly through actions due to his physical, inherent ways of showing affection, equivalent to those of dogs’ and wolves’. He’s still verbal though and will not hesitate to say it to the other person if he feels the need to do it.

46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

//In no particular order, I can see him primarly being with Matsuda, Nanami and Komaeda. And here are the reasons:

Matsuda: Because he’s his own Alpha, and he’s kept a lot of respect to him in his heart. After all, he accepted turning him into something better, and at the same time, the research he was doing on him helped him develop his title more, which made both feel satisfied with themselves. And how safe and protected he made him feel while he was his Alpha, too. He grew very fond of him in no time, and even now, he still sees him and feels him guiding him. If he were to return or be alive in reality, he’d probably confess his feelings and claim him as his one and only Alpha.

Nanami: She made him feel safe as well, but it also goes beyond that. He made him feel secure in his worst moments, even after she ‘died’, and awakened a sensation he never believed would be brought back to his system - love for life and hope for himself. It’s the warmth and care of a mother mixed with the inherent passion of a lover what he senses from her, and she makes everything around him seem less gloomy. That’s why he’d consider her his mate, the half of her Alpha to his own.

Komaeda: At first he was pity, but he grew curious of him to the point that he touched his heart. He often sees something fragile in him - more so, he can remember his old self (Izuru) when he looks at him. Someone who, even though a bit out of it, still requires love and understanding. He was an Omega, so there was no doubt that his position wasn’t the best. But somehow, Nagito managed to overwhelm Hinata and connect with him in such a way that he decided to raise his position to an Omega to his Beta. And even if he doesn’t understand him completely, he really does want to, if not figure him out, at least manage to give him the love he deserves.

47: How do they express love?

Something inside Hinata had brought him down into this. Maybe it was an instinct, an impulse, he wouldn’t know. But after finding a good spot on the beach, full of really pretty rocks and plenty of shells, he had felt the unhuman urge to give one to her. It was as easy as that - like when you’re picking french fries from a plate and every time you pick one, your mind tells you ‘’that is the one.’’ It was a mix of blue and red, with very small green spots on it. There was just something in the rock that screamed ‘please give me to Nanami’.

There was also something... off. He didn’t recall the last time he had felt like doing this to someone. Giving them random stuff, I mean. Was something wrong with him, or was this normal? Ugh, so many doubts...

But whatever, he had chosen the rock and now it was time to look for the girl. Just thinking about giving the small stone to her made his tail shake slightly, ears twitching excitedly. He wandered off, looking for the girl with his eyes until he found her, immediately dashing to her position and showing her the gift.
