Veteran industrialists Gautam Adani, Anil Agarwal, Sanjiv Bajaj, LN Mittal were present among the much-awaited Invest Rajasthan Summit that has been inaugurated on Friday by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The two-day summit has been hosted by the state government at the JECC Campus in Jaipur. State Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat also be present on the occasion.

“The main motive of these conclaves is to bring together diverse groups of notable business entrepreneurs, investors, thought leaders, and policy and opinion makers to discuss preparations for their respective sectors,” said the government press note.

More than 4,000 guests from across the globe are attending this summit. A few names of such noted dignitaries include Dr Praveer Sinha, CEO & Managing Director, The Tata Power Company Limited; Dr Anish Shah, Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd; B. Santhanam, Chairman, Saint Gobain India; Ajay S. Shriram, Chairman & Senior Managing Director, DCM Shriram Limited; C.K. Birla, Chairman, National Engineering Industries Ltd; Sanjiv Bajaj, President CII & Chairman & MD, Bajaj Finserv Ltd; Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Group; L.N. Mittal, Chairman & Managing Director, ArcelorMittal; and Gautam Adani, Founder & Chairman, Adani Group.

All the dignitaries will have interactions at the Investor Rajasthan Summit. Some of the key sectors planned for conclaves are Agri and Agro-processing, Tourism, startup, MSMEs, NRR, and future-ready sectors.

·         15 की उम्र में छोड़ दिया था स्कूल

·         कबाड़ बेचकर शुरू किया करियर

अनिल अग्रवाल ने अपने करियर की शुरूआत बतौर स्क्रैप डीलर के तौर पर की। 1970 के दशक में उन्होंने कबाड़ की धातुओं की ट्रेडिंग शुरू की और 1980 के में उन्होंने स्टरलाइट इंडस्ट्रीज की स्थापना कर दी। स्टरलाइट इंडस्ट्रीज 1990 के दशक में कॉपर को रिफाइन करने वाली देश की पहली प्राइवेट कंपनी बनी। यही कंपनी आगे चलकर वेदांता रिसोर्सेज लिमिटेड और आज की Vedanta Group बन गई। वेदांता ग्रुप आज के समय देश ही नहीं दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी खनन कंपनियों में से एक है।आज उनका नाम देश के टॉप बिजनेसमैन की लिस्ट में शुमार हैं।

वेदांता रिसोर्सेज के मालिक अनिल अग्रवाल ने लंदन स्टॉक एक्सचेंज में कंपनी की लिस्टिंग के 10 साल होने पर करीब दो साल पहले अपनी 75 फीसदी संपत्ति को दान की घोषणा की थी। उन्होंने कहा कि जो कमाया उसे समाज को लौटाना चाहता हूं। वर्तमान में अनिल अग्रवाल की कंपनी वेदांता ग्लोबल बन चुकी है, यह कंपनी भारत के अलावा अफ्रीका, आयरलैंड और अस्ट्रेलिया समेत अन्य कई देशों में कारोबार कर रही है। इस कंपनी में 65,000 से ज्यादा कर्मचारी काम करते हैं। फोर्ब्स के अनुसार, वर्तमान में अनिल अग्रवाल की अनुमानित संपत्ति 3.6 बिलियन डॉलर है।
