So I've been thinking about your Xander's depression post lately and I definitely see it. I even just got done rewatching "Entropy" (season 6, episode 18) and even Anya mentions how Xander just makes jokes to hide his own insecurities.
I actually just teared up for a second because it’s really nice to know that people read what I write. I also went back through the pages and found that particular post, and read it for the first time since I wrote it.
It is such an underrated theme in the show, because I think it helps to explain some of Xander’s odd behaviors or questionable moves. I am not saying that it justifies anything, but it at least explains it. I have a big soft spot for Xander.
Thank you again for sending me this, and thinking about my post. It means so much to me, so much so that I took almost an hour to write these few sentences, because I wanted to express exactly how I felt.
