please ignore this if you are tired of the bacon post, but i had an apparently unique reaction, which was: how sharp were your scissors? how did you even manage that??
they're okay scissors - they're just dollar store ones, not super strong! I buy a new pair whenever one breaks, and keep a couple pairs around for doing stuff like cutting green onions into soup.
tbh it's not really hard to cut that much bacon if you go slow and flatten it out as you cut? like if you go through a bunch of layers at once it'd be hard, but because of the way bacon is staggered in the packaging, it's fine so long as your scissors aren't super dull, and you don't let the bacon bunch up while you're cutting it.
also, to be really honest here - I don't eat bacon that much. xD it's expensive and messy to cook! so I buy a pack of bacon a few times a year at most. when I made this original post, I was using the bacon to make green bean bundles :3
