I’m okay pretty much? for now anyway. just worried about finding a new job. I know I am skilled enough to get a job but I don’t have a portfolio cause I just didn’t start getting one together in the like four months I was at this job, so if they ask for one I’m fucked. that being said, my boss wrote me a letter of recommendation which is GREAT because she’s a certified master groomer and very well known in the community.
but yeah finding a place I like is going to be difficult I think. I loved that salon, the space and the clients and the equipment. I will never trim double coats and really don’t want to work for a place that does (even if they don’t require it from me). would prefer not to be stuck doing shave offs all the time. have to find somewhere that doesn’t want to hire me as an independent contractor (which is illegal here, but employers do it because it’s easier).
idk I was finally in the last two days especially feeling like I was getting comfortable and better and now it’s like I’ve missed that step at the bottom of the stairs and I have to regain my balance.

Yeah I was... I guess 20 when I read them all and it was excellent. I was borrowing them from a friend and he was like how the hell are you reading these so fast haha
I'm really not sure why I couldn't get into them as a kid/teen though lol I just remember never finishing them

i remember when i used to make fanvideos, and they used to all be strictly doctor/rose but a couple times i tried to make an amy/rory video, and as i was searching for moments to cut together i was just stricken by how little of amy and rory's relationship was actually shown. we're just told all these things about the two of them but we never really //knew them// ya know
