This song is so angry!!!
-
And can’t we just send Chris Brown, Charlie Sheen, Sean Penn, George Zimmerman, Josh Brolin and Mel Gibson to a deserted island and let them all rage on each other? We can call it The Anger Games
Prioritizing Problems
One of the biggest problems I have in life is keeping priorities straight and focusing on the thing I should do first. I am at somewhat of a crossroads in my beginnings and I am trying to decide how to proceed first.
First up, I will give a list of the current things I want to do:
Play video games - As much as I shouldn't have, I have been taking advantage of the Steam holiday sales. That combined with Christmas gifts means I have tons of stuff to play.
Finish Asteroid Runner - I really want to get the game to a "finished" state to actually have a game I can call completed.
Build my website - I have registered a domain name (that I will not reveal yet), and I have a web host set up. I simply need to build a site. (I have a small bit of HTML experience from school.)
Work on a new game - I have several ideas for new games I want to make, but I am trying to hold off until I finish Asteroid Runner.
While I do have a few other things I would like to do, such as working on 3D design, the things listed above are my main interests at the moment.
I really want to create my website and finish Asteroid Runner as inspirations comes about; the problem is that I am a sucker for playing games and tend to lose track of time when I play something. One problem with the current situation is that I will basically have to re-learn HTML. I used it for 2 websites, and 1 of them was built entirely wrong. On top of that, I do not have a good design idea for the site yet; there are a few pieces floating around in my head but nothing major.
I am quite anxious to finish Asteroid Runner because I want to work on an RPG, but I am not letting myself start another programming project until Asteroid Runner is finished. I have too many half-finished projects to add another one to the list. I never intended to make it a full game, but since I have gotten this far, I want to "finish" it.
Hopefully, over this New Year's weekend, I can make progress on the web site and maybe a bit on the game, but I will probably play a bit to relax a bit. Christmas weekend was busy from all the driving to different family houses, so it flew past. I may end up playing game (video or board, who knows) with my cousin and some friends.
Anyways, that's enough for now. I simply wanted to give a bit of insight into the future. I hope the New Year is good to everyone. Until next time.
