Missing these beach views already...Here is a picture of Paseo Del Mar Street and the beach, as seen and photographed from the Korean Friendship Bell hillside, with some Lavender flowers in the foreground, taken on my very last photo outing on March 28, 2020. This week, we are all urged here in the U.S. to really stay home as much as possible to help flatten the curve of ever increasing Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic cases. And this is also Holy Week. Staying home during a plague, like today's Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, reminds me of the Passover back in the Bible Days, when the Jews had to slaughter sacrificial lambs and post the blood on their doors to be spared from the plague. "The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt." Exodus 12:13 NIV. So thankful that we do not have to sacrifice animals today, because of Jesus' death on the Cross for our sins to save us!
