I rarely draw people (almost never, ahah), and now I decided to try again. I think it turned out well <3

the four leaders or gods, the chayotim, were the only ones able to hold open this portal dealie that allowed the angellim to invade Earth from...wherever they came from i guess idk

somehow the humans idk sent someone through the portal and managed to kill one of the chayot, which fell through the portal to Earth upon its death

the portal naturally couldn’t be held so the angellim retreated but not everyone made it

most remaining angellim are ashim (the lowest of the low, basically citizens who were there to colonize), but there are a few cherubim (servants) and benehim (foot soldiers)

they’ve been hunted mercilessly by humans and only in recent times have the remaining angellim that are trying to make an effort to integrate with human society been somewhat accepted (i mean, they can’t breed on their own and there’s so few of them so they’re starting to be left alone)

benehim are the only ones still killed on sight (but they’re not trying to integrate, they’re highly aggressive and tend to kill a lot of people before they’re taken down)
