Don't get involved with this fight. Minerva knew she had to stay where she was and don't come out, but she wanted it so badly. She could get this white-haired demon easily, but in these times she had to be careful. Her life was to important right now. But others got killed and their blood wasn't spilled by Minerva, but by this mage.

War. Three years, five months and sixteen days had passed since the Grand Magic Games, and a huge war between every living thing was going on. You didn't know who you could trust, and the only way to survive was to kill. Of course Minerva didn't mind ending lives, as long as it wasn't from someone she wanted to use for her plans. This war would end en she would be a winner, she would get all the power and separate weaklings and powerful Mages.

Minerva knew she had to stay hidden, but at the end, the Mage would find her and surrounded by stones and destroyed houses, she would be in a bad situation. And this demon could kill Mages Minerva wanted to use. So that meant ze had to fight. Her lips curled up and she climbed out of her hiding place.

The woman who turned into a demon had a wellformed body and a skin full of wipes of blood and scratches. Long, white locks were reaching out for the sky and wings grew out of her back. When she looked over her shoulder, Minerva saw two glowing, red eyes. Unnatural eyes. Minerva didn't felt anything for holding back on this woman; Not because she was a good hero who wanted to save some lives that would be taken away sooner or later, but because she was done waiting. Minerva's magic had increased and she was strong enough to take this woman. Probably.

The demon growled loudly and ran towards Minerva with a speed she had never expected. Narrowly she could jump aside, but the woman had already planned another attack. Again, she went for a hand-to-hand combat, but this time Minerva was ready. They hands hit each others and a few seconds they both didn't move and only tried to push the other away. But Minerva already knew what to do. She could heat water, and as we all know, a human body was 70% made of water. She could boil it as hot as she wanted. The white-haired woman screamed out loud and let Minerva go when she felt her body temperature raise. But it only angered her more.

They fought hand-to-hand most of the time, but sometime they used some magic. The few buildings they weren't destroyed yet didn't survive very long. The white-haired woman attacked Minerva again, who had to jump away for some falling stones and felt on the ground. Narrowly she could hold the woman away from her body, but she knew that once she would lose her strength and that she could be killed easily when that happend. She had to get out of here, no matter what. She sighted concentrated, stared into the deep, red eyes of the woman on top of her, and rolled on her belly. She pulled the demon on her back and got free of her strong grip. When she jumped away, the long, reptilian hit her in her stomach. The tail threw her away and Minerva hit one of the standing walls. Panting and with bruises all over her body, she got back on her feet again.

The demon-woman also panted; they were both bruised and injured, but both their prides wouldn't let them lose or retreat. There dropped something cold and liquid over Minerva's face. She stroke her fingers over her cheek and saw a red wipe. Her eyes widened. She had a cut on her face. She never had a cut on her face or anywhere else before. Oh, this was gone so far. The unnamed demon would regret this!
