It's interesting when I see all of this talk about Setsuna's inconsistent skin shade I have a theory and its so simple Since Setsuna has more melanin than others it seems, its very very likely because whenever she's exposed outside and whatnot she gets darker, and when she's indoors more (or less sunlight around,) she gets lighter But then again i only have this theory because I have brown skin and mine works like that lmao :) PS - I love your blog :3 have a wonderful day :D
It’s definitely possible. That’s how a lot of skin tones work, even some paler ones. They tend to get darker when they spend more time outdoors.
The only problem with this theory is that none of the other girls had much of a range of skin tone variations (if at all). So you’d think that the other characters would have some variations too if that were the case. But who knows lol.
