The different colored sleeves are just completely different fabrics sewn on to make them look cooler as long as they have their coat. [Though it still kinda looks cool without it I suppose.]

The frowning side can smile and the smiling side can frown, but its very subtle. Like the corner of the mouth raises up/down and a specific eyelid slightly narrows.

I already established they're an experiment, but they're specifically an unethical AND illegal experiment. A reanimated corpse injected with the swap potion and some other shit. [Guess where the corpse was taken from heh.]

I'll elaborate on evil scientist guy when I draw them, but they got killed when Swap decided to breach. Scientist wasnt really in the way Swap just wanted them fucking dead.

The process of having Swap switch places is more complicated. They have to touch the person they're taking over while they basically disintegrate into liquid. They get in their system and lodge in like a parasite.

Unswitching is basically like breaking out of a cocoon. Their body materializes inside of the already existing one and takes the skeleton/organs for themselves. Then they just rip the skin/leftover muscle apart.
