@andy6sachs asked: “i didn't realize you'd remember that.”
denial was awfully tempting ( wasn't it always when it came to feelings and nostalgia? she was hardly the poster child for reminiscing on the good times or taking about her emotions ), but it was much too late now. she'd unfortunately already made it much too obvious that she thought of andy's time at runway far more frequently than she should probably admit to. "oh, come on, andy," she muttered. she wondered if she was the only one aware of how she'd dropped the 'andrea' these days. it felt much too formal now, didn't fit with them in the slightest. "you were hardly easy to forget. it's not like we had any other second assistants who dressed as if they'd tripped into a marshall's clearance rack. i, unfortunately, remember most of your time at runway quite clearly."
@andy6sachs asked: bites
she yelped. actually, properly yelped. that was new, and undeniably unexpected. "—what are you doing?"
do you take magic anons
i'm revoking your ability to send me asks
@andy6sachs asked: ❛ i trusted you! ❜
"more fool you." it wasn't what she meant to say, wasn't what she should have said. emily knew she should apologise, knew all the right things she should say, but she didn't say any of them. andy deserved an apology, but she wasn't going to give one, not right now. emily was too proud, too damn stubborn, and couldn't admit when she was wrong, couldn't admit how much she'd let her down. they were supposed to be friends, if nothing else, but once again, emily hadn't been as loyal to andy as she used to be to runway. she simply wasn't used to actually giving a damn about anyone. "i never asked you to trust me."

@andy6sachs
"you're like, super pretty. and that dress is banging. you're gonna pull anyone you want."
@andy6sachs asked "Can I kiss you?"
up until now, every event she'd been to since andrea had started at runway they'd been working. emily didn't even touch the free champagne when she was focused on being perfect, for the last thing miranda needed was her getting sloppy. this party was different, however, and she'd been making the most of it with serena. she didn't consider the calories in alcohol on a night like this, but given the lack of actual food she consumed, the drinks went to her head quickly. needless to say, she was already drunk when andy approached her. "you came?" emily asked, her words slightly slurred. she was about the last person she'd expected to see at a fancy party, she was more carbs in a dive bar, rather than champagne flutes in a place like this. still, emily wasn't necessarily complaining about her presence. somehow, as the evening went on, she found herself actually hanging out with andrea, rather than serena, who was busy with some other models anyway. it had been awhile since she realised how she felt, but she'd held her at arms length, pretended she didn't feel a thing. she'd never even admitted to herself that she was interested in women, and she certainly didn't want to be interested in someone who'd leave the house dressed the way she did. and yet, when the question came...emily was moving in closer before she even stopped to think about it. they were alone in the bathroom, the party continuing on just the other side of the door, though she paid it no mind now. she'd regret this in the morning, probably make things even worse for andy at work, if she remembered it at all, but for now, she let her lips gently meet the other woman's, a hand cupping her cheek.
@andy6sachs asked: ❛ do you even care how much you hurt me? ❜
god, did she. if there was one thing emily had been ruminating on since she'd left milan, it was how much she must have hurt andy in the process. it wasn't intentional, her plan had only been to get runway for herself - she hadn't factored andy's meddling into the equation. still, she'd lied to her; she'd tried to make out like she was helping her save runway, not helping her get it for herself. most people in the industry probably wouldn't think twice about being caught in the crossfire, but she'd learnt a long time that andrea sachs wasn't 'most people'. she could never hide a feeling, and she had too bloody many of them. "of course i care!" she snapped. it wasn't something she ever would have admitted when they were younger, but things had changed. she'd changed, at least a bit. annoyingly, she did feel guilty. clearly, since she'd stopped devoting her life to pleasing miranda, she'd developed something of a conscience...a small one, a part of one, she still had no issues stealing from miranda or using benji for a boost up to the top. andy, however, was apparently different. or, perhaps, her feelings for andy were different. "why do you think i wanted to see you? i wanted to say i was-" she cut herself off, and cringed. actually, physically cringed. it was, apparently, too hard to say a five letter word. sorry. "i wanted to tell you that you were never supposed to be involved in it. but, annoying as ever, you wanted to help. do you never get tired of being a good person?"
