The first time the Echo spoke to me I was quite young, but old enough to have been sent out on a rather routine hunting excursion with my younger brother Kiht'li Bajhiri. The arrow I loosed upon a spring boar did not find its mark, enraging the beast, and the last thing I remember was falling faint while 'Li cried out my name. I... am still unable to forgive me my weakness in that moment, and am still striving to continue to have the strength to maintain all my faculties at all times should another situation like this ever occur.

(Skoll refuses to answer this directly, something about, "...even were I to answer, most think my culture to be barbaric and savage, so how would what I say be not only relevant but taken into proper perspective?" so I digress I suppose.)

Aspasia: ❤️‍🩹 — what would truly heal them?

Some wounds are still quite fresh and require more time. Time is all I ask for. And a path that I can focus on. (Aspasia has just won a great victory in the Azim Steppe's Naadam alongside new found allies and cherished friends. The events of The Vault remain fresh in her thoughts)

Kiht'a: I was close with my mother, not so much with my father, as all things were within my clan. When I was but a kit, I learned as much of the basics as I could from her, alongside siblings and extended family, around campfires and under many moonlit nights. It was during these early days where my penchant for the aetherial arts was taken notice of and when the clan decided what my fate was to be. Or rather, what it would have been had I stayed. Regardless of what was to be, my mother supported me, through all weaknesses and strengths, and always affirmed the freedoms of choices for when I started to question my role in all things. The last thing my father ever said to me was... "You take the first steps towards forsaking your birthrights, but you will never forget." I think about that. Often.

Skoll: I never knew my father. No one in our clan did. My mother never divulged name nor clan nor lineage to anyone. She died with that knowledge fiercely guarded. But I never abhorred her for this decision, how could I when she raised me with enough love and compassion that could have replaced his presence a thousand times over. However short our time was together, her teachings, her mannerisms, her very spark of life will continue to remain the brightest, most cherished memory I hold on to. Even after three-quarters of a century later. One of my only regrets is not returning to the clan to sire her a grandchild. I knew she had a doe in mind from an allied clan, but I could never muster up the courage to walk that path.

Aspasia: Bookish, strict, scholarly, but they expressed their affections in their own way that felt open and nurturing. "You are your father's daughter!", was often an exasperated sigh my mother prayed while throwing up her hand from my early childhood antics. No one disagreed with her and I always caught that half grin of chagrin that followed the proclamation suit. I've only but recently left home to travel the world as a Scion of the Seventh Dawn, so my sentiments remain fresh, stinging, homesickness still settled in the pit of my stomach. I write them whenever I can and pray to the gods my letters make their way safely from Othard to find them healthy and hale. I wish I could simply take a quick aetheryte teleport back to Vylbrand to send a bit of time with them, but it's costly and I haven't the time to waste on such selfish endeavors. Perhaps when all is said and done...

Kiht'a: I've been cursed out over my cursive, but I'd like to think my penmanship is passable... For the most part.

Skoll: I read better than I write. Though my runes have been complimented a number of times. Something to do with artistry or some such thing.

Aspasia: I've had to learn and practice my letters and numbers from a very young age, so I suppose I've had enough time to hone and perfect my skills. No complaints as of yet.

For Aspasia please. Tho I'd gladly take all four :3

Aspasia isn't really fond of meat in any capacity, but would reluctantly eat fish if cooked a certain way should there be no alternative. Dairy is fine. It's less a question of ethics, and more a texture thing for her.

As for the rest...

Kiht'a is a bottomless pit of a garbage disposal. Yes, please, and more are all viable food options to him. Archon Loaf tests his limits however.

Skoll isn't exactly picky, having had to fend for himself in the wilds for great lengths at a time. Given a choice, he tends to avoid berries. A childhood prank's scared him off a bit and his stomach may or may not clench at the though of indulging in a handful of red berries.
