It was nice knowing you Andronico’s. Andronico’s was a local grocery store in the Bay Area, and let’s face it, it was tailored for the wealthy white people - it can be more expensive than WholeFoods. I enjoyed the bakery section of Andronico’s. They had some of the tastiest grocery store bakery stuff. I also liked the hot food bar at the grocery store. But again, everything at the store is pretty expensive. $8.99/lb for the hot food bar. I was trying to buy some ready to eat boxed salad - that includes the forks and dress - and they were selling it for $5.99. Even with 30% off, that’s still pretty expensive for a single salad. There was also a lot of people in the checkout lines, so I just left and went to Safeway.
