#android competition

This may not be quite as exciting as the "Single!!" poster, but the finalists of the RJI Android Student Competition at the Missouri School of Journalism have just been announced, according to this email our anonymous tipster just sent us.

We can't say what any of the projects are about, thanks to one hell of a non-disclosure agreement, just that we know who will be moving onto the next round of the competition to give their final pitches sometime in May.

Nine teams presented their projects, and the following five teams made it through. Congrats, everyone!

Here are the results of the judging. The Final Five teams are:

Team Buzz: Patrick Sweet, Chao Shi, Fei Wu, Akshay Dave and Colby Gergen

First Instinct: Hyunmin Lee, Taein Park, Hyun Ik Jang, Jaewon Shin

The App Factory: Suman Roy, Dan Wang, Qia Wang, Daniel Maxson and Brent Davidson

Media Moguls: Matthew Schmertz, Josh Lory, Amanda Klohmann, Morgan Mitchell and Bryan Baugher

Team 5 Bars: Amanda Bromwich, Geoff Pado, Josh Smith, Adam Falk and Zach Wade
