I encountered “GenerateJavaStubs” task failed unexpectedly in Xamarin Android

I encountered this during error during a compilation of one of my Xamarin Android apps. After installation of a new 3rd party library, I tried compiling my project, but BOOM! this happened!

I got this error when I moved a running Android project to another system.

Error says, Project ‘MyProject’ is missing required library: ‘E:\android\adt-bundle-windows-x86-20130729\adt-bundle-windows-x86-20130729\sdk\platforms\android-19\android.jar’. The project cannot be built until build path errors are resolved.

A red exclamation mark also appears on project icon.

The issue seems to be that when using this plugin, Unity needs to use the java compiler (javac.exe) But it's not found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\ folder. You must install the JDK and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_45 You must also add the jdk bin folder to your PATH: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_45\bin You must then reboot. That did it for me.

sdk\build-tools\android-4.4W 의 모든 내용을 sdk\tools 에 복사하면 됩니다.

그래서 즉, 결론은 JAVA_HOME 등록하고,SDK의 내용을 복사하면 build 된다는 말씀. 이전에도 build 할 때 안되면 아래와 같은 방법을 사용했었는데, 아직 최신 버전에서는 문제 해결이 안된듯합니다. 어디 홈페이지에서는 17version 꺼를 땡겨와서 써라는 말이 있던데 말이죠...
