Andre is hardworking, ambitious and loyal. Andre had always tried his best to do what's right for his family, but never got any recognition from his malevolent father, Lucious.
At his best, Andre is calm and level-headed. Andre is shown to be very competent in running Empire. We also see Andre integrate to 7 in his relationship with Rhonda, as he is very playful.
At his worst, Andre can act erratically and irrationally, especially when he thinks he is right. Andre also has a tendency to be paranoid as he feels like he is the black sheep of his family.
Andre has always wanted Lucious to be proud of him and has worked tirelessly to make him proud. He has also always wanted to do things the right way, however he was often sucked into doing bad things for Lucious. When Andre does bad things he feels immense guilt and often spirals out of control.
Andre becomes very obsessed with following his faith after his mental breakdown. We see this as Andre tries to make Empire artists mention biblical themes, as he wants to impose his views on the general public. However, after Rhonda's death, Andre becomes disillusioned with his faith and stops caring about following its code.
Andre has a wing 9 as he is more calm than a 1w2. He is also more likely to try and ignore his problems.
