So, I watched last week's episode a few days ago. On my last post, someone informed me that the actor who plays Dr. Andre Davis, T.L. Thompson, is in fact a trans man. The recent episode revealed that the doc is a trans man from the 1920s. I do appreciate that Andre came out to another black person. I'm still upset because that moment would've been better if it happened with a Black trans person from the 21st century. And then, where's Noah? Why tell us that Noah is trans then get rid of him (hopefully we'll see him again soon and he's ok)? Then, turnaround and show us Andre's backstory and reveal that he's trans too. They could've just done that from the beginning. Why beat around the bush like that? And, he was a medic in the great war? Had he transitioned before then? I get that the word transgender wasn't a thing back in the 1920s but why was he confused that a trans man needed testosterone? What had he been doing all those years while passing as a cis man? I'm hoping these questions are answered in the series since Dr. Davis is a main character. I know the new episode is tomorrow so we'll see.
