44′ - Paolo Guerrero
Brazil 1-1 Peru | Copa America 2019 Final
Meet the Team: PERU
Now that squads have been announced, we can look more closely into the hotness of the individual teams. I mean, that’s what we’re here for, right? For each team, I’ll talk a bit about the squad, then highlight ten hotties (trying to be attentive to many types of hotness), doing my best to split them evenly amongst the field.
Today: PERU!
Peru missed 2014, but they made it to the quarterfinals of the Copa America Centenario and now they’re BACK baby! Despite an opening loss to Denmark, they’re still very much in the game. Their star striker, Paolo Guerrero, is back in the team, and they have a lovely passing game when they get going. Plus, they have these lovely sashed kits.
Team Nickname: Los Incas Fan Chant: Perú! Perú! Perú! Perú!
Goalkeepers:
Jose Carvallo, #21 (home club: UTC)
Pedro Gallese, #1 (home club: Veracruz-MEX)
Not everyone has the cheekbones to pull off Wolverine muttonchops. But here we go.
Carlos Caceda, #12 (home club: Veracruz-MEX)
The group of hot goalkeepers continues. The cupid’s bow on his lip is quite kissable, no? And he surely knows how to wear a suit.
Defenders:
Alberto Rodriguez, #2 (home club: Junior-Colombia)
Anderson Santamaria, #4 (home club: Puebla-Mexico)
Miguel Araujo, #5 (home club: Alianza Lima)
Luis Advincula, #17 (home club: Lobos BUAP-Mexico)
Aldo Corzo, #3 (home club: Universitario)
What a cutie Aldo is. Don’t you just want to run into those arms?
Miguel Trauco, #6 (home club: Flamengo-Brazil)
Hey Trauco, no need to pout. You’re definitely on the list. Oh, the smile’s cute, too.
Christian Ramos, #15 (home club: Veracruz-Mexico)
The order of these pictures make him look like he’s dancing, and now I’m thinking about him dancing, and I’m liking it.
Midfielders:
Paolo Hurtado, #7 (home club: Vitoria de Guimaraes)
Christian Cueva, #8 (home club: Sao Paulo)
Andy Polo, #14 (home club: Portland Timbers)
Wilder Cartagena, #16 (home club: Veracruz)
Yoshimar Yotun, #19 (home club: Orlando City)
Edison Flores, #20 (home club: Aalborgk)
Nilson Loyola, #22 (home club: Melgar)
Renato Tapia, #13 (home club: Feyenoord)
I wanna run my fingers through those curly locks.
Andre Carrillo, #18 (home club: Watford)
Suited, booted, unshirted, I’ll turn my head every which way.
Pedro Aquino, #23 (home club: Lobos BUAP)
Pedro’s face is clearly the product of a caring sculptor.
Forwards:
Paolo Guerrero, #9 (home club: Flamengo),
Jefferson Farfan, #10 (home club: Lokomotiv)
The lips, the hair, the broad shoulders, the jackhammer thighs.
Raul Ruidiaz, #11 (home club: Morelia)
I could barely find a picture where Raul wasn’t smiling--even in the last one, he’s a little excited. Love it.

I’m gonna miss Morocco, Iran & Peru so much :(
PERU DESERVED BETTER!!! Unfortunately we were not cut out for the world cup. Although my heart is broken by our elimination we did not lose in vain we fought till the very end both games giving every shot we could. May the next 4 years till Qatar be ones we use to fix our weak spots and improve our strengths and hopefully make a come back. And for the haters out there this isn't the end we'll keep fighting until we reached that goal no matter how long it takes.
