If you asked him, he wouldn't admit to having taken extra time that morning in his bathroom, making sure that his hair was just as he wanted it, and his face was in a generally good state (though he can't do much to change that.) His clothes are a little bit nicer than they were the day before, and maybe he'd even ironed them before sliding them on. He intends, however, to go about his daily routine-- that's what everyone does on the day of their meeting. And it's just by fate that they stumble across the one they're intended to be with for the rest of their lives. His tattoo, which had, like everyones, started off as a little black smudge on the inside of his wrist is now crisp and clear and shows the word 'sorry', which is just a little bit frightening in itself.  But he can go with. The first step, he knows, is to take a quick run to the grocery store to pick up the necessities, and then he can come home and make a quick lunch for himself before heading to work. He's nervous, of course, figures everyone is the day of, as he heads down the aisles with a tiny little basket in his hand, eyes scanning the shelves for a cheap enough loaf of bread.
