A   SCIENTIST   ,    AN    ACTOR   &&     A   KILLER   ! 

    without thought ,  he reaches for her  , brushes fingertips across her knuckles.  heart strings pull ( only the cage of a restless beast )  at the distance between them , no matter how close she might feel in his grey-stained apartment.   mumbai’s heat radiates , permeates ,  &&    berlin’s soft rainfall falls away.    ❛    let’s get out of here , go away.    ❜ 

    what melody could cross continents  but the sound of her voice   ,   at first only a whisper , growing   &&  growing.   a not unwelcome disruption from the monochromatic droning of his day.   a storm recently passed has given way to daybreak , met with the warmth of mumbai , but out widespread windows he can see the freckled sidewalk , stained from the rain. 

    what does the night tell the day of darkness ?   what CAN it  ?   &&  yet silence appears only in the held breath , the prelude to knotted gut , the tight expansion of his chest growing outwards  ,   outwards.  stars settle in her eyes and he must bow to them  ,  lower his gaze.  fear not the danger , never violence , but the steady beat of the heart monitor   ———     felix’s silver tomb of the hospital.   ❛   I am afraid that my mistake will cost him his life.  ❜
