andie is staring, she can't help it. there's a reason the phrase useless lesbian exists and it's because of her. she's spent so long hunched over a computer, she's long lost her social graces ( perhaps she never had them in the first place ). still, she has some self-awareness and so she manages to shut her jaw and avert her eyes for a moment before she glances back, shamefully and anxiously hoping to catch the other woman's attention, breath a bit uneven, eyes darting back and forth. she pauses, takes a breath to collect herself and unwraps a stick of gum to pop it in her mouth.

eu acho que a sua vontade é a vontade de deus!!! vamos fazer o seguinte? as pessoas que são a favor da gente encurtar o evento (então ele se encerraria hoje à noite, as 18h) dão like nessa ask aqui e agora. os que não, também falam. até o horário, vamos ver qual resposta foi mais significativa e então agiremos de acordo.

                                    Entering another sleepless night, Thea was curled up in bed with her headphones in, listening to music to drown out the silence. For some reason, the silence was never that silent to her anymore—- she could hear the guards on the other side of the iron door, or screams and whimpers from the cell next to hers. It was all in her head of course, but that didn’t mean it didn’t feel real. She wished and prayed for sleep to find her, to relieve her of all the memories, but on the odd night that she did fall asleep, nightmares would haunt her and she’d wake up feeling even more exhausted than when she’d gone to bed.

                                    Little helped on the worst days, but Thea found it hard to communicate to anyone close to her just how much she struggled. She knew how they worried about her after all; sometimes maybe a little too much. When the numbers on the alarm clock by the bed switched and 3 AM rolled around, Thea pulled the headphones from her ears and got out of bed, wanting to get some air. The rooftop of her sister’s building was perfect, so Thea pulled on a pair of jeans, shoes and her jacket before tiptoeing through the apartment and out into the hall, ascending the steps upwards. No way was she getting into an elevator anytime soon.

                                     What she didn’t expect, was for someone else to be on the roof at that time, and at first she was startled—- nearly enough to take her breath away completely and wrap her chest in fear, but not quite enough when she recognised the silhouette.
