I'd say in Nabo's case it's hard to pinpoint. It's not his usual indifference, but not outright affection either. So, somewhere in the middle? Then again, Nabo's not overtly fond of many people. You could count them all on two hands. Most of those people don't even know he's fond of them either. Nabo's more of a quiet intimacy type of person. Think no grand, bombastic displays of affection, but instead a subtle increasing collection of micro-moments that protect the time and energy of his loved ones.

Since he is Egen's aegis they are his brothers as well, yes. That all shared, Nabo is one of five people who've actually seen Xinix in the flesh instead of his automaton.

Andelle: Very easy to fluster him. You probably guessed it already, but he's more difficult than usual when he's flustered. The type who walks away immediately to blush in private, and then returns as if nothing happened. Otherwise, he freezes in place as though he hates everything about the current situation if he can't escape. He's the type who, if he's at an amusment park with his significant other, and the mascot says, "Tell us what you love about your SO!" he'll shout, "Nothing! We're leaving!" OR "Is that any of your business? I should file a report with your HR department considering you're shamelessly asking paying clients invasive questions!!" While being completely red-faced. Oh dear.

Nabo: Notoriously difficult to fluster him. He has a very blink-and-you-miss-it fluster style. A subtle widening of the eyes, or the arch of a brow. All followed by a handsome smile as if you're at the height of mischief. And then it's gone. If you're especially lucky (or cheeky) he may blush too. He's the type who really only gets flustered by someone who has unbridled eccentricity and audacity. And even then, only momentarily. After all, he's pretty conditioned to that from being around Egen and all.

Egen did mention he bled for his people, so that got me thinking-battle scars! how physically scarred are the three? maybe a story behind some particularly gnarly looking ones? do they still hurt, maybe on occasion, or does that particular scar only look like it hurts? 👀 (i HC Nabo has one on his thigh, if anyone must know and hasn’t seen ✨That One Fanart✨ i drew! the enemy was trying to snipe Andy and missed horribly LMAO)

Egen's role is functionally high command. Unless there is potential for the encountered forces to be particularly formidable, he typically does not lead the charge. The bulk of his time is spent guiding the fleet as a whole and doing performance management. Acting as a type of omnipresent finer-detail, weakness pinpointing, eye above the battlefield to guide and advise his people as necessary.

Training within Egen's fleet is quite rigorous, and he has an uncanny ability to determine a person's best assets, skills, and desires, and then place them appropriately. Since performance reviews guarantee a one-on-one meeting with him, many ornthonians joined his faction to have a direct line to him. That shared, the flip side of this is that Egen is quite attached to his people. Nobody in his fleet is expendable. He takes part in extractions so that he can bring each and every one of them home in the best condition possible (circumstances given)---regardless of the risk to himself.

Nabo is a proper general. He prefers to be on the ground at every opportunity. The broader strokes of tactics battle to battle are his responsibility. Additionally, both congratulatory, disciplinary, and similar corrective actions are also his wheelhouse. Because of this he is the most unpopular of their trio amongst fleet members. Once Egen's the official ruler of Ornthon Nabo will be in charge of the general welfare of Ornthonians (think any firm decisions that alter or determine the quality of life for the populace). Since he shows virtually no visible enthusiasm for the mundane, many speculate in private that his real position is something else.

Andelle does his absolute best to never visit the battlefield. He gathers all the information and predominantly manages logistics. Everything to do with funding, distribution, integration, upkeep, maintaining their armory and adding new tech to it, etc. are his responsibilities. He gathers all the intimate detail of the planets before approach along with knowledge about enemy supply lines, allies, culture, geography, etc. While espionage is part of his duties, he is not the spymaster of Egen's fleet. It is one of the other two, but to this day, he's uncertain whether it's Nabo or Egen.

As for scars, Andelle has exactly one, Nabo has several, and Egen has the most.

As for stories on them, hmm. Egen's most gnarly one is probably the most noteworthy. I'll place it under a read more in case someone doesn't want spoilers.
