Broke my phone so I can't draw for a lil while but!
I STILL wanna make something, so have these random thoughts stuff I got for my
Kennecroft Swap AU:
• Leon buys at least 1 flower every time he comes over Grace's Place, as a little gift. (He doesn't like coming empty handed, It's different each time.) (He gets another smaller one for Emily too, cause he loves his girls)
• Grace does gymnastics.
• They go on dates and they bring Emily on most of them.
• Grace has a giant folder room, it's like her diary but it's documents.
• Leon taught Emily paper origami.
• Since Leon is the younger one in this AU. He definitely has Tiktok.
• Grace doesn't have one until Emily installs it on her phone.
• Grace can cook, but she picks it up more than ever since she adopted Emily.
• Adoption is easier I think, for her in this AU, because she's DSO with connections.
• Grace keeps newspaper clippings.
• Leon watches alot of those DIY insta videos, it could range from making friendship-bracelets-with-shells to Build-a-custom-mushroom-themed table.
• He does btw. At some point, made DIY kid furniture for Emily for her birthday. (With his rookie cop salary, he can only do so much, and the girls appreciate him)
• That bunny shenanigan post? Grace already calls Leon 'Honey' and 'Baby'. Add 'Honeybunny' on occasion when she feels like teasing Leon. (Leon would blush and cover his face but won't admit that he secretly likes it.) (Grace knows)
• They have an ugly sweater gift exchange at some point.
• Grace thinks that Leon deserves better than a boring old traumatized lady like her, but doesn't say anything against dating him. If she was a better woman she would, he's a "kind young man" who deserves someone his age, who he can relate to. But she's selfish and, is genuinely starting to develop feelings for the young lad (She's just realizing this NOW?) even tho she KNOWS he's only going out with her as a passing interest... But she'll enjoy it while it lasts, until he's ready to break things off with her. She hopes they can still be friends after. (It's been 3 weeks of dating)
• Leon is already thinking of buying Grace a ring and making up wedding plans and where they can do their honeymoon cause he wants that Milf SO. GODDAMN. BAD. but doesn't want to come off too eager. Has the urge to say I love you after she laughs at his corny jokes, Has the urge to say I love you after seeing her in a comfy sweater inside her home, Has the urge to say I love you after seeing her read Emily a bedtime story. No, seriously, is marriage too soon cause he wants that life. (It's been 3 weeks of dating)
• Even tho, Grace makes MORE money. Little Rookie Leon absolutely doesn't let her pay dinner when they go out. Grace is very endeared and flattered by this.
• Emily isn't actually Grace's first kid. Because she took in Jake Muller, after the whole Raccoon City Incident. Cause Chris Redfield was still looking for his Older Sister, Claire, and didn't stay with them when the government took them in. (Yeah Kennecroft ain't actually the only ones I swapped TEEHEE)
• Although not in any official paper, They got this Happy-Mom-with-emo-son and Emo-son-who-loves-his-mom dynamic going on. They kept in touch alot more than what happens in Canon RE characters. So she knew who Sherry was before meeting her.
• Grace actually likes Sherry despite being a mercenary, she's a very cheerful optimistic person even with her upbringing. She's happy her boy found someone strong and kind.
• Yes, Jake replaced Sherry in comms during Requiem and I think that's so fucking funny.
• Jake definitely intimidates Leon, he doesn't like him, Not because he's like half Grace's age, he's not gonna judge that. And most definitely not because he's going out with his Pseudo Mom. Not at all. He just doesn't like his vibe. (Sherry: Please, Babe, he's like a puppy stop glaring at the poor boy.)
• Emily ships them while Jake reluctantly shuts his mouth, and just stares daggers at him. Cause he wants to get along with his newly acquired little sister. And as long as his mom is happy. But if he breaks her heart. Cracks knuckles.
• Leon is sweating bullets but powers thru because he wants Jake to atleast tolerate him. Cause he genuinely loves Grace.
• Also I think it's hilarious if this grown ass man with muscles, scars, is 6'3 tall, with a light-reddish buzz cut calls this 5'10, boyband haircut, puppy looking, blond and blue eyes, rookie cop. "Dad."
• I think both would genuinely feel like dying if that situation ever comes.
• Grace likes adjusting his RPD uniform collar and then pulls him down for a kiss. (It's Leon's favorite too)
• Emily is the mastermind behind their matchmaking.
• I think it's funny if the bunny traits left a little something even when it wore off. At least Leon enjoys eating more vegetables.
• Grace knits. It started as an anxiety reducing hobby (let's be real, it's not). But she does it during her free time now. It's been years since she started. She's good.
• Leon sometimes picks Emily up from School when he's patrolling around the area.
• Emily gives her favorite nightlight to Leon after finding out he sometimes gets nightmares (after Rhodes Hill) and waking up in the dark doesn't help. She knows what it's like. (Grace also bought nightlights for Leon but seeing this scene warms her heart.)
• Grace has an apron that says kiss the Cook.
• Leon waxes poetry about Grace in his head.
• Grace has reduced her missions ever since adopting Emily. That's why she got free time.
• Leon helps Grace bandage her injuries after a mission. He's always so gentle.
• Even though Grace owns a Aprilia Tuono V4 (Motorcycle equivalent to a Porche), She will never turn down a ride with Leon and his Jeep. Lowkey her favorite thing they do. Ride around town with him. Sometimes Emily is there pointing and talking about seeing something cool as they pass by, and Leon quips back at her with a cheeky smile, hands on the steering wheel, saying "maybe we'll swing by there next time." as Grace sits back and looks at them fondly. (Yeah definitely her favorite thing to do.)
