you don’t UNDERSTAND how much I love Corsican language. I grit my teeth every time I see it being mentioned somewhere. this perfect mix of modified Italian with the lightest hint of French just makes me go EEEEEE when I see it or hear it.

and not to make unnecessary connections between my passion for this sort of things and f1 (especially retro f1), but I’ve come to a conclusion that this Little Mediterranean Island equals in my head to jean alesi and I cannot quite grasp what is the reason behind it (except, of course, for the obvious French-Italian thing). like. I’ve just woken up one day and figured that I can’t think of him without thinking of Corsica and vice-versa.

he is half-sicilian, I believe? so no real life ties to this island and almost nothing in common between two of them (except acquiring some sort of autonomy lol), but something in his looks and how he acts reminds me of Corsica.
