I found more enjoyment out of The Kite Runner than I did Shakespeare. We read Hamlet and the only thing I understood was “pigeon-liver” as an insult and the egregious sexism spat out on my book’s text.

I'm pretty sure most men would rather wear a dress if dresses weren't mostly seen as feminine lol

Dresses are mostly flowy and free, while tuxes are really constricting most the time unless they're tailored specifically for your body, and even then it's still constricting.

And tailoring is kinda expensive.

Dresses are less of a concern with tailoring unless you're goimg somewhere REALLY fancy or it's a very specific dress. Most the time you can put on one of those fancy belts or fold the sleeves or whatever.

Stop treating trauma like there is one right answer. Stop treating it like there is a fixed response to make it better and vanish. It is not a math equation.

Shockingly, often times, it never goes away. It sticks. It hangs on. It never leaves. 

But also, wondrously, maybe you don’t see that because it gets hidden away, or, just possibly, the person you’re observing is having what can be called a good day. That means nothing. It does not mean it’s gone. It doesn’t not mean it has been fixed.

So, for everyone’s sakes, please stop treating others horribly because they get stuck in it. Stop acting as though they’ve done something wrong because what works for you doesn’t work for them. 

Just. Stop.

It is not your life. Leave it alone unless requested otherwise.
