Thinking about Rhunn again, specifically during the time frame of Maul Shadow Lord. Cause Rhunn is fiercely loyal to Maul, and in my fic I have Maul state that Rhunn will be his right hand after Bo-Katan left. But obviously he's an oc, he's not in the show, so as Maul's right hand we have Rook Kast. And logistically I've still kinda been thinking she handles command of operations and the Mando mercs especially while Rhunn is more an aid to Maul specifically if that makes sense? Rhunn isn't a leader he isn't there to command anyone. He's there to do what Maul needs him to do. But there also has to be a level of freedom bc he has family, he has a little sister that needs him and she's back on Concordia. Or maybe she is going with him during all of this idk she's my friends OC so we gotta talk that out. But the point is Rhunn acts as Maul's hand, carrying out his will, but logistically isn't actually second in command. Despite Maul saying he would be. But also, between Maul saying that after Bo-Katan's leaving and MSL a lot has happened and a lot has changed. Even Rhunn himself isn't as balanced as he ought to be, cause he saw the destruction of what little was left of Mandalore. His home was destroyed so soon after he was able to return to it. For 21 years he'd been exiled, finally got his home back, and then Order 66 happened and shortly after the Empire destroyed what remained of Mandalore. He still has his family, but the hope of going home was lost forever. So he's real upsetti, and also just was never meant to be a very good leader. He was never a general, never a commander, nothing. He knows how to fight and how to die.
This was meant to be abt his feelings towards Rook and i got off topic but dw abt it. I'll reevaluate that another day
