This just in: a new archeological discovery has been made in Poland dating to 2,700 years ago; roughly lining up with the late Bronze Age
the sword measures in at approximately ~60 cm in length, in the standard imperial system this comes out to about ~23 in. or roughly ~2ft.
This is a huge day for Bronze Age enthusiasts across the world, as now we have one of only a rare handful of surviving examples of Bronze Age weaponry.

The archaeologists say it’s not particularly well cast, and so was likely ceremonial. To my untrained eye, it looks more modern than 3000 years old - a testament to how little I know about ancient Czech weaponry.
