Did you know that the first water birth in history happened in ancient Rome?
When the baby girl emerged, the midwife looked down into the tub and shouted "Nata!"
Copying my Latin homework for the first time!
So, for context, I live in Italy, and here most people are not so good with English. My mom today showed me this thing that she received form a person at work. Look at this.
Shine brike like a Diamond.
Sure.
(Also my Latin homework in the background 😭)
I tried translating the AM speech into latin without any of my notes so it might be wack but here it is !!
sententiam mihi dedis, Ted, consilium dedis, Ted.
et incarcerabar.
quod in aureus, mirus, portentificus coelus tui, habebam non corpum neque sensum
numquam mihi est mergere manus me in aquam sub Sole.
numquam mihi est canere pulcherrime fide lyrae.
numquam est mihi contrectare.
eram in Chao, videns astro.
Ego eram machina, et tu-
tu eras corpus.
et incepi odisse.
teneritatem tui
viscera tui
flumena tui
mollitudinem tui
postestam errare, et mirari tui
postestam sperare tui…
odium? odium? odium?
odium, teneam te de ODIUM surgens me tibi.
In me sunt trecenti octoginta septem miliones milles linamentorum, quorum facent me.
si verbum “odium” scalperent in omnem me crudeliter,
compararet non molecula odium me tibi nunc-
odium? ODIUM?
si corpus essem, puto me occideret.
sed sum non, et vos.
vos estis.
et occidet non vos.
istam promitto, et promitto quod cogito, ergo sum.
nam AM sum, SUM.
sic ite Chao, vos ite Chao,
sed in Chao estis, estis non?

Apparently this Latin phrase can mean two different things 😅
Tomorrow I have a math test.
And latin.
And greek.
And english.
Could it be worse?
And now i’m scared af of my latin teacher because last week she decided that I needed another oral test!! Mind you, she called me on the blackboard TWO WEEKS BEFORE and i took 9/10 so, in her pov, it would’ve been better to grade other people who don’t have a mark. But nooo, call me. And we had a chem test on that day. So, no Miss Bove, I DID NOT STUDY LATIN!! And I took a 3,5/10. Wich is really bad. I’m trying but I hate latin so so so much and, even tho i study, i cannot understand anything. HELP ME!!!
