But apparently, for the first releases of AK1e and 2e they HANDMADE THE GAME CARTRIDGES after the publisher pulled out in 83
Then just kind of hid the copies in a couple places scattered around the US, hiding it in department stores and electronics stores for people to stumble on.
And, quote, "This is very important, you have to mention one was hidden in the giftshop of the University of New England's Natural History Museum."
So if you need a sign as to the kind of game this is, that's something
its beginning to dawn on me the average person probably doesnt know about The Ancient Keep, considering how much of a pain the new edition is to get- not much fandom on this site
