Jason Todd is always seen as the angry one. The short tempered Robin (who we all know is actually Dick) but I like to imagine him as the softest one too.
He's missed out on having a normal childhood. The chance to find out or even be who he really is. Of course that makes him angry. Because now he has to make up for lost time on his own. No one's gonna wanna be childish with a grown man. Especially not a short tempered, crowbar swinging, resurrected, sassy vigilante.
But he'd crave it. The nostalgia. Not the type that makes you sick to your stomach, but the one that is indescribable comfort within the moment.
Sitting on his couch watching an old show with a Lego set in front of him and a bag of chips he hasn't had since he was 12.
That was his safe space. He'd finish and then go pick up the book he placed beside him, reacting to the scenes on the paper.
"Oh, come on! I swear if I flip this damn page and he- Fuck!" He doesn't care if he's being too loud. Neither does he care that he's talking to himself. Because this is the best part of his week.
He's literally just a frickin baby yo.
